Hi,
I'm new to the forum, and I wanted to ask a question about paying off my contract early.
I have 5 months left of my 24 month contract. I was wondering, the amount I pay off on the remaining 5 months, what should this amount include? Is it just the monthly charge (x5) or will the blackberry monthly bolton and monthly phone insurance be included too in the calculating of how much I need to pay, to pay off contract early?
Liam.

Ok, just to clear up any misunderstanding and feeling that some top posters don't feel that "Time and again they go to the trouble of sometimes lengthy responses to questions to only get additional pertinent information later on"
Yes you are correct, I didn't clearly give all relevant info, so my apologises!
Adding to my first question - I wish to remain with O2, after all, I've had an outstanding service with them! I am just very unhappy with my BlackBerry, so much so, that I can't really put up with it for another 5 months. I also want to keep my existing phone number too!
Just wanted to know guys, what I can expect O2 to calculate the price of paying off my contract early? I understand from replies already to my post that they shouldn't add VAT or include the monthly boltons prices to the payoff price. Is there anything else?
Thank you guys for your input on this, I really appreciate it!
Liam.

Bolt ons can be removed then it's the amount per month x thie months outstanding.

"Either way is an expensive resolution.
Why not stick it out for the remainder and get usage out of the money your paying ,and then give notice, get your pac and move on".

I don't want to leave O2, I've had outstanding service from them. It's just the phone!
