Pay as you go tariff

Anonymous
Not applicable

I am currently on the Simplicity pay as you go tariff which includes paying £1 a day for data which I do not wish to pay as i do not use the internet. Is there a tariff that would be more suited to my needs which does not include paying daily for internet?

Thank You

Mrs Yule

Turn off mobile data on your phone then you won't have to pay it.

Alternatively, both Pay & Go, Go, Go and O2 Unlimited both include data https://www.o2.co.uk/freesim/

This is becoming a very common question recently probably due to the rapid take up of smartphones.

What people are failing to understand is that various features like the weather and email for example will update themselves without you realising.

As MI5 says turning data off will stop this from happening but rather defeats the point of a smartphone.

Having some amount of data included in your tariff would help.

Hi Cazy and Welcome to the forum,

What mobile phone are you using and how much do you top up per month ?

Knowing this info would help us to advise how to use your model of phone and what tariff may be better suited for your needs, so perhaps you could take advantage of using data services, and apps that may be on your phone which could be near the price your paying now.
