Pass on my phone to my daughter

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hi,

I've just upgraded to an iPhone5 SE and got a new SIM as part of my upgrade.  I'd like to pass on my old iPhone 5S to my daughter.

I want to get her a PAYG SIM (I'd put her on a monthly contract, but college student + contract = huge bill).

Can I order a PAYG SIM, top it up for her monthly with a basic package, and if she runs out of minutes she will be able to put on extra minutes herself?

Not being mean mum but last time she was on contract I got a £300 bill!  But as she is away at college, I would like her to be able to have the phone when she needs it.

Yes you can.
Just order a free sim off the website or pop into your local corner shop etc.
She can always top up with vouchers if she runs out of minutes anytime.

Excellent idea. I made one of my sons go to payg after I had to bail him out (twice) ...Now if he hasn't got credit he can't use the phone. Simple...
