I used 'lend us a quid' to call o2 for a pac code - it seemed like a perfect solution as I only need to make one final call. But when I logged into O2, I found out there is no way to pay back the £1 without topping up £10. I've ported the number so now I have no O2 phone. How can I clear this debt? The web chat support people don't know the answer.

I can't see any other way. If you have ported the number I wouldn't bother to be honest.

You just know though one day a bailiff will come for the £1 with £150 in fees added, and a default on the credit file.
If it was a contract I would worry about it, but not for PAYG
