I'm trying to move my phone number from my old (O2) phone to a new (EE) one. I have texted PAC to 65075 and was sent a code. I went through the process to change it over online and was told that I'd receive a text on the day it was supposed to change over, but that text never came. I've tried it again since with no luck.
Googling this issue, it seems that most people have got it sorted by giving O2 a call, but at the moment they're saying to only contact them if it's really urgent, which I suppose it isn't. I could really do with getting the number moved over though. Any advice would be much appreciated.

If I'm understanding you correctly you are leaving O2?
If so, it's EE you should be asking about your port as it's they who initiate it.

The EE website says I need the PAC code from O2: "Alternatively, if you're new to EE and want to keep your number from your old provider, you'll need a PAC code from them to use your old number with us."

You said you had got your PAC from O2 already?
You just need to give your PAC to EE and they will do the rest.
