Advice from an O2 Guru regarding a way to get through:
If you call 202, when it comes to the reason you are calling stay silent for 15 seconds and you will be taken to the keypad options.
Press 2 for Everything Else
Press 5 for More Options
Press 7 for Anything Else which will put you though to an advisor.
Press Upgrade, Lost/Stolen if you have to.

After 4 days it's most likely declined, but you can check by calling customer service.

The upfront payment is reversed because they took it before refusing you.
The deposit wasn't taken so will remain as pending and will be returned to your cleared funds in 4 to 5 days depending on your banks policy.
O2 don't have this money, it is just held by your bank in case the merchant calls for it.
