O2 upgrade online

So my contract is up...spoke to o2 on the phone and there offers are terrible... Yet online they are alot better

Trying to upgrade as ive seen 20g data for £8 a month... Obviously i want keep my number.... Im logged in when im going through it all... But then it asks if i have a pac code or not? I dont as i want to keep my number... To me it seems like a new contract ontop of the one i have and not overriding the existing one to a new one? Anyone help me with this as ive never upgraded online

Where are you looking online? The 20GB for £8 is a common offer on comparison sites.

If so, you can take one of them out as a new contract then migrate your number across.

New contracts are often cheaper that online upgrades.

Is through virgin media website.. Which takes me to o2 website. Weird as im logged in etc and setup is through o2 site
