O2 open code questions

Hi there I'm fortunate enough to be able to use an open code and hope to do so for a newer iphone in September, my question is this is the discount available on all phones or just not the newest one? I've had various responses at different O2 shops, also if I have the code to text do I have to go via O2 shop or could it be applied if I went O2 online or car phone warehouse but still O2?

Only if you or your better half is employed by an O2 partnership company. As a NHS employee you would have qualified for it and got 30% off your tariff.

Well that rules me out of the Open Code system....and when with the NHS... I was with Orange

Ah well, what you never had you never miss!

When I worked for O2 I got 50% off my tariff and still had it for 2 years after I left till they finally cottoned on. My world collapsed when I had to pay as normal

I WAS a student .....in the 60's.. ....and then went back to university when I was 50...but all that seems a long time ago now
