Confused customer ? I am on holiday in Tenerife. Called 02 about cost.. at the time I was t aware that I could use my phone and data as normal. The 02 advisor said I need to text them the word travel and 5£ would be added to my next bill so I could use my phone as normal. But when I arrived here on holiday got a message saying it's free. Can someone clarify? That's very odd ...

It's free to use your uk allowances in any eu country but if you roam on a non eu country it will cost you either £3.99 or £4.99 per day depending on the country.

Ps. As Tenerife is eu you can use allowances for free when connected to a local network there
