Thai sim all the way. I live in Thailand and here its £4.99/day and data is totally unusable. It was cheaper too in Hong Kong and Japan on recent trips than using an O2 contract sim.

I know one of our members @jonsie lives in Thailand and always uses a local sim. The charges are horrendous if relying on O2 roaming...

Local sim everytime no matter where you go if you want to use data with any kind of usable speed.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

I'm really pleased that @Anonymous is doing the research before he goes rather than not being able to use the phone on his travels.

@Anonymous if you are anywhere near Pattaya, Bangkok or Rayong then drop me a PM and we can have a drink....or two!Smiley Very Happy
