4 Months ago I took out a sim only deal from Carphone Warehouse @ £26.00 pm for Unlimited Mins, Txt and 1GB data for 12mths. Yesterday O2 reduced the same tariff to £21.00 the £26.00 has 5GB of Data. O2 has informed me that I won't be getting neither because the Sim was from Carphonewarehouse despite it being billed by O2. If the Sim was direct from O2 they will be offering the changes. Carphonewarehouse have said they have no control over this and its down to O2. Is this correct or am I being fobbed off by O2?

o2 are meant to be posting clarification in the news section (it did not appear as promised yesterday)
But an o2 staff member posted this yesterday http://community.o2.co.uk/t5/Pay-Monthly-and-Pay-Go/Upgrading-from-3G-to-4G-as-a-current-customer/m-...

@bob
The complaint review service is the last place to voice this concern untl o2 have actually published the full info on its website.
CRS is the last point of call before the ombudsman.
Propper complaints process should be followed in full.
1 normal customer services can take 5 days
2 escalate to managers
3 then impartial review (CRS)
4 Ombudsman (after 8 weeks )

I'm puzzled, you were quite happy with the tariff and the price from CPW I assume.
If O2 decide to reduce it for you it will be good luck, if they don't then you'll have to live with it.
I see no reason why they should apply this to CPW customers.
I don't understand what "fobbed off" means here.
