Number not valid

Try to phone a pal and keep getting " number not valid" . I receive calls if she phones me on the same number and we can both send and receive txt messages using that number. I've rebooted phone. Removed some and cleaned it. Deleted her number and all txt and history. Got her to phone me then added her contact details.  Tried phoning , still not valid. I have, over last couple of days called others with no problem.

Is this a number that they have ported in or out of a network as it could be that it doesn't exist in someones call forwarding database.

Thanks all for your replies.  Not blocked, already checked.  Strange I cannot phone her yet she can phone me and we can as I put, both send and reply to txt
