Not receiving verification texts after number ported

Hi Everyone,

 

I just joined o2 from three. My number ported this morning and I can make / receive both calls and texts. However, I am not receiving any 2 factor verification messages. I've searched online and this seems to be a common problem. I did try contacting on the live chat but the advisor suggested updating my number in the iPhone settings which is already done. This seems to be more of an issue with the porting process.

 

Can someone from o2 please get in touch to help me resolve this?

You're better off calling or using social media.

You need the additional porting files for 2FA texts. It may kick in after 24 hours, but if not, message them on Social Media if that works best for you -on Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG) or call on 202 or 0344 809 0202
