@Jessica1993A few things to try :
Put your phone into Airplane Mode, and then give it a few minutes and then take the phone out of Airplane mode.
Try putting your phones data connection down to 3G or 2G and see if you get data.
It might also be worth putting your sim card in another phone, and seeing if the issue is the same.
Also please check
https://status.o2.co.uk and see if there are any service issues in your area.
