There is no mobile data (internet) when my device is connected to 3G. Internet is only available when my device is connected to 4G or 5G. However, there are still areas where 3G is only available, no 4G or 5G. It is not a device issue, mast issue, or a sim issue (this is the third sim card and I am still having the same issue); it seems that internet is disabled when my account particularly is connected to 3G. I have tried another O2 sim (PAYG) on my phone and internet is working fine on 3G as well as 4G and 5G. I'm also having this issue when I travel abroad (roaming in EU) in areas where 3G is only available.
I have contacted 202 multiple times and unfortunately nobody could help me with this issue, I'm told every time that a specialist would call me within 48 hours, however, nobody has called me back. I've made more than 5 attempts so far.

You need to persist with O2, @Nik0 - they can be contacted via Social Media, the link at the foot of this post has the ways. That way, you can keep pinging them every so often without having to waste hours on the phone - they do respond, offering a private channel in which to share your personal phone details so they can investigate properly and communicate back to you when they know what's up. Good luck!

You said the Internet was working on 3G 4G and 5G on a PAYG SIM. Strange as there is no access to 5G on PAYG

If you have contacted O2 multiple times and they have failed to revert to you as promised, you could lodge a formal complaint :-
