Hi,

I am using a Iphone 15 pro.

Since around May 2025 - I am having issues. When people try and call me it automatically goes to vmail. I get an error message on my phone which says unable to connect to mobile data.

In May I visited my local o2 store where they completed a sim swap. I believed everything was resolved. Now over the last few days the same issue has started to happen again. People try and call me and they get diverted to vmail as if my phone is off.

Again I have had the alert that I have been unable to connect to the mobile data network.

This is intermittent and unsure what to do, I have called customer services but thy are not very helpful and claim to have logged a ticket.

Any ideas?

Thanks

You can get your phone checked by Apple for free to see if the phone is a potential cause.

It might be worth looking at :-

My Network App - Find Out More About Your Network Coverage | Apps | O2

https://www.o2.co.uk/apps/my-network

Understand your network coverage

With the My Network app you can keep an eye on your coverage, wherever you are. Download the app and you’ll be able to:

- check the status of our network in your area – you don’t even need to enter your postcode

- test your network speeds

- report any issues with your service.

It’s simple to use and means that you can check the network without having to visit the main site or even enter a postcode.

Thank you for the helpful guidance.

I have figured out the issue is with 5G.

i have changed my setting on phone to 4G and don’t seem to be having any issues.

but I will ask Apple to test the phone also and check the links you have provided

thanks
