New sim

I have just received my new phone but have no sim yet. I have asked for a new one and also want to change the number. When I asked for a new one does this mean I will also get sent a new number

The new sim will normally be blank. You do a sim swap Guide: Sim Swap: a mini guide 2017 update  and then ask for a new number. Now that's the normal procedure but they may have given a new number which you can check when you get the sim. Or contact O2 using any number in this guide Guide: Coronavirus Community Help and Support
