Hello - I have just received a new Pay Monthly phone.
I would like to transfer my existing mobile number from Three which I understand I can do by requesting a PAC number - that's fine.
However, the telephone number that came with my new copntract is rather memorable and i would like to keep this as well for a spare mobile that I use from time to time.
How can I do this? Thank you for your help.

Thank you all - I really appreciate your time thinking this through with me.
Once I have an O2 P&G phone with the Three number ported to it would there be any way of then transfering that number to the other O2 Pay Monthly contract, otherwise I would be in danger of losing the contract minutes etc..?

Why would you be in danger of losing the contract minutes? You can't lose them. You have a monthly contract for them. If you transferred the PAYG number to the contract you would lose the new number, unless you could get O2 to swap them, which complicates things, and I'm not sure they would do that.

What you now after fetching the number across is a number swap between the two sims and I'm sure O2 can't do that.
