I am planning to upgrade my iphone 7 to an iphone x tomorrow. And i have a couple of queries. I currently have 30gb of data, which is more than enough for me
One of my queries, can i pay, say £500 as a down payment, or does it have to be a specific amount?
My second query is regarding sharing my data with other family members.
Can this be done and is it free of charge? If it's possible, I am wanting to share my data with 2 other phones. One will be a contract phone, and the other is a PAYG phone. these are in other people's name. Does that matter.
Any help would be appreciated

You can only pay upfront what is being advertised for the tariffs on the shop pages, ie, there is no individual negotiation possible http://www.o2.co.uk/shop
As far as sharing is concerned, you need to tell o2 you want the contract to be set up as a lead device to share data.
Once you have a lead device, others can be added to share the data or calls and data.
Basic data sharing starts at £7.50 a month (unless the £1 offer is still running?) and the phones you want to share with need to be added to the relevant tariff.

PS. PAYG phones are not eligible. They have to be monthly contracts.

@Anonymous I wouldn't be too hopeful about upgrading to an iPhone anything tomorrow, if I were you. At this time of year, there's every chance in the world that O2 doesn't have any stock of any iPhone, even if you go online and it says they do. Their stock check is not live, and doesn't really reflect what they're holding, which is most likely nothing.
