Solved: New 5g phone and 5g sim; am I on 5g tariff?

Hi. I have my 5g ready iPhone 12 and a 5g sim. Does this mean my upgrade tariff is 5g ready too? How can I tell?

All tariffs are now 5G tariffs.

If you upgraded you will need to do a simswap from your current sim card, if not it will work with 5G straight away.

You can only tell when in a 5G area, and you will see the 5G symbol in the status bar
