 first bill charges me 88p over please  explain

Charges are pro rata for a few days to align your billing cycle.

@Curly1if you check in MyO2 it should give you a breakdown of your bill http://www.o2.co.uk/myo2 so you can see what the additional 88p is for.

You may have sent a couple of mms messages or gone over one of your allowances considering your first allowances will be smaller than normal due to the pro rata
