Moved to O2 and transferring old number

I have just joined O2 and completed the process to transfer my old number. My number did seem to transfer yesterday (14-dec-2021) and all was great for a while. By the afternoon my phone lost connection and since then is not connecting to O2. 

I have performed all the normal steps such as rebooting the phone, checking the sim is inplace etc. and still no signal. It is as if my account is in a state of flux. 

I really need my phone to work as I have a lot of accounts which use MFA and send a text to authenticate me. I use this for my work as a computer architect and so without a signal I am stuck.

Can you please advise when my phone will re-connect along with my transferred number?

We’re just customers like you but it sounds like you’ll need someone to access your account which can’t be done from here. You need to contact O2 via social media to help by messaging them on Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter ( https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG) , they should be able to help you with this

thanks for the info @Cleoriff . I am trying any route I can just to make contact. I can't believe how divisive the methods of contact are with O2, constantly deflecting you away if you try.
