Hi

After closing my business I have moved  to a consumer O2 account from my business O2 account. When I ordered my consumer O2 SIM, I submitted my PAC. Now have the consumer SIM and have put it in my iPhone, but when does my old number get moved over please? Is it overnight? I know have a temporary number no one knows about slight_smile

Thanks

Everything is taking longer due to the lockdown. Call centres and social distancing means limited staff to handle all the queries. Patience needed I'm afraid.

@gr4z

You don't need a pac and it won't work with one.

As you are staying with O2 you just need to call to migrate your number Guide: Coronavirus Community Help and Support

So even though I submitted it with my consumer order, it won't do anything? I still have to call O2?

Hi @gr4z ,

Yes a pac code is only needed if you are moving from one network to another.  What you need to do is a business to consumer migration. This is done by O2 Business customer service. The migration will normally take 24 hours but may take longer with the current pressure that the network is under.

So I called O2 business to move over and they did that. My O2 business SIM went off line around 1pm yesterday so put in my new O2 consumer SIM and it has remained with 'no service' ever since. I now have no phone service at all. Any idea how long once they have switched off one service the other comes online?

Thanks

Keep rebooting your phone every half hour or so.
