Hi, I recently received a "free call alert from O2" to say that I had missed two calls from a +44 mobile. I was surprised to find that these two missed calls were not in my "Recents" listing which I was checking in expectation of receiving these two calls. . I also did not get any ring tones, my mobile was silent for the times in question. My mobile was fully charged, not muted, not turned off etc. I wanted to understand how my mobile did not register these two calls but "free call alert" did so that I do not miss important calls in future.

Thanks

Lewis7

Check or faults in your post code @Lewis7

https://status.o2.co.uk/

A text may get through when a call is registered on the network but the signal not strong enough to register on the phone

Also try rebooting your phone

@Lewis7 +44 is the code for the UK. If you're concerned about missing calls, turn on your voicemail: https://community.o2.co.uk/t5/How-to-Guides/All-you-need-to-know-about-O2-Voicemail-901/ba-p/547712

I DO NOT WORK FOR O2
