I am trying to contact 02 to advise them i have lost my phone, wish to cancel it and get a new one but i cannot contact them despite they saying they have a 24 hour service?

It is a 24 hour service but you need to call and stay on the phone through all the intro options. The lost/stolen option is right at the end.
