Hey
I’ve lost my SIM abroad,
I tried to phone multiple numbers but couldn’t resolve the issue (timezone, charges, connection), my parents (in the UK) tried to phone and block and reorder a sim for me, however they won’t let them access my account.
what steps should I take moving forward?
thanks for the help!

@_BS_ The only person who can report the phone stolen is you. Once reported, a new sim will be sent, but only to the registered UK address. See this guide: Lost or Stolen O2 Device
You can also reach O2 via social media:
Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB), Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW), or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG)

Same happened to my son last year when he was in Goa. He messaged us with all contract personal details, including phone number, password, email address etc etc. My husband rang EE from home pretending to be our son and there was a new sim waiting for him on return to the UK. In the meantime our son bought a local sim to use whilst he was in Goa. (as they only blocked the sim, not the handset)
I always think in these situations, then 'needs must'. 😉
