Line Rental Charge

I opened my O2 bill with the expectation that I would have a bill of £22 because that it is what my monthly scheme is. To my surprise I see £52 instead. The thing that caught my attention the most about the bill is the Line Rental Charge which I have no idea what this is, has a total of £44. I’m just in shock because I don’t know what this means. I only use my mobile to make calls and use data but I NEVER exceed the limit. I’m just so confused. Because it the sim has only been in use for a month since it’s activation. I got the sim activated 21st of July. And today is the 5th of September so it’s just been over a month. But this bill does not make sense and I need help to resolve this issue with the Line Rental Charge because I cannot be paying that much monthly for a contract sim of just £22

That does seem high but as we can't see your bills here, please call 202 for customer services.
