Hi
I have been living abroad for 2 years. Yesterday I rang the o2 202 number from abroad to tell them I was leaving o2. I have received no email or text acknowledging my phone call or my leaving or nothing on my o2 account to acknowledge or indicate my intention to leave. What should I do? I need a confirmation of this monthly bill being stopped as soon as I can. What is o2 procedure once they get this phone request? Can any good soul tell me?

When it comes to the reason you are calling, stay silent for 15 seconds and you will be taken to the keypad options.
Press 2 for Everything Else
Press 5 for More Options
Press 7 for Anything Else which will put you though to someone.
Say 'Upgrade', 'Lost/Stolen', or 'Fraud' if the suggestion above doesn't get you through.
Best time to call is 8 am UK time.

The only positive notification you will get will be the inability to log in to your MyO2 once the contract is cancelled.
It can take up to 48 to process through the system.
