Hi,

I am looking at leaving O2 and going back to my previous provider (EE) as the reception is appalling and I drive all over the country and to say it is patchy would be an understatment. Even when I have full 4G signal the download speeds are dismal at best, its ok to offer 100GB of data when in reallity you will never use it as the speeds are reminiscent of dial up days. I have emailed O2 with no response regarding the cost of terminating my contract and calling them is virtually impossible as I will loose signal while waiting forever for an answer.

I understand I can request a PAC code at any point during my contract, however I will be billed a termination fee at my next direct debit, can anyone please advise if this is the current procedure with O2.

Any help will be much appreciated

@ghughes

You will be billed for the remainder of your contract cost when you port your number back to EE.

Explained here Guide: Cancelling Your Contract

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
