Late bill payment

My bill is going to be paid late and my services have been cut off if I pay it will they go back on?? I have had an email stating that it may not be possible to reinstate my service 😕

It depends just how late the payment is. Normally, once the bill is paid the phone will be reconnected though they may charge you a late fee of £3.50. However if it's very late, more than a week or so, they could demand full payment for the remainder of the minimum term plus any outstanding amount on the handset. They say it may not be possible to reconnect you as is the standard message they send to everyone. This is more likely to apply if you make a habit of late payments. 

You really need to call customer service and tell them when payment will be made.

It may well be in your best interests to reinstate the direct debit you cancelled, indeed they may insist depending on the circumstances.

There may also be a reconnection fee to pay which is dependent on the outcome of your conversation with customer service
