Keeping an old number

I recently got a pay monthly SIM and was told I could keep my old number, which currently has a Virgin contract. I did the 'Bringing my number to O2' form a couple of weeks ago and have heard nothing, not even a log from O2 to say they received it. I did this form again last week and still nothing. I'm currently paying for a contract I'm not using as no one has this O2 number, so I'm paying for two contracts.

I can't get hold of anyone, please can someone switch my number, or atleast let me know they have logged my request?

Sorry Hannah but you need to keep trying. 8am is the best time to call any of the numbers. Choose any option, even fraud.

I have tried calling several times, each time stated why I am calling and chosen options, and then each time it says 'bye' and hangs up

Just a choose any option that gets you through.
Once you get a person you can explain why you are calling.
