Just changed from VM to O2, visual voicemail isn't working

Will I have to activate visual voicemail on an iPhone after changing from Virgin mobile to O2?
Also iMessage isn't verifying the number in Messages?

You will need to ask them to enable iData on your account
This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.
