It's a well known scam.
Block the number and ignore it.

It could also be O2s third party customer care Provider Capita PLC they have operations in Africa - either way I would block it.

Capita have no offices in the Central African Republic, the call centre is in Cape Town, and the number that would show is a UK number possibly 0113 or 0114

Capita o2’s customer care provider throw out third party contracts all the time, it could well be Capita, just like the hopeless ‘sales’ team they threw together in India to take over during Covid, go have a listen to that nonsense during opening hours

Its called collaboration, and Capita have brought in help from everywhere for a lot of contracts, and to be honest o2 should have just shut up shop, like some other call centres did and concentrate on existing business...

It was an o2 business decision to keep sales open and not Capita's.

Trust me Capita where priortising other services over o2 and others, so stop blaming Capita.
