I received notice today that my sim only contract is increasing by 12% from October 1st. Pretty sure an increase of this amount wasn't mentioned in the T&Cs. I will be contacting O2 to follow this up. Greedy...

Would you accept a small 12% decrease in your remuneration package?...

I'll wait...

Hey @madasaf1sh

It seems this link is working from my side, or do you mean there is a specific link missing on this page?

Possibly a small increase of 12%

!2% of a tenner could be construed as small

12% of £100 would however not be considered as small

Either way I would be looking at other ways of reducing or getting rid of any increase at all

Nope! As a percentage, 12 is not small. And we are talking percentages. 12% of a tenner could be considered a lot if you don't have a tenner. 12% of £100 could be construed as insignificant to a billionaire. You're not comparing apples with apples, just muddying the waters based on your own particular situation.

However we view it there is nothing you or anyone here can do about it.

As a 30 day contract O2 can do what they like providing they give the required notice. They could even close down this sort of account if they so wished.

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.

What a damn cheek!! Pleased I'm on a 12month sim only plan.

Athough you do need to keep your eye out for sales so you can swap about without charge.

@pgn It was reported from here.

The comment from the person who reported it throws extra light on the matter.

"fwiw my price rise is 32%, it’s currently unlimited data for £9.17. Probably will PAC out of O2 at this rate around Black Friday"

Good luck at getting unlimited data cheaper, even after the price rise

Comment left by the poster adds a little to the story

Seems they have had a good innings on that one
