I've lost my phone down a grid

Not applicable

I've lost my phone down a grid. I have a month left on my contract and so I've just took out another contract elsewhere. Can I still carry my number over?

Hi @Anonymous Did you report your phone lost? https://community.o2.co.uk/t5/Pay-Monthly-and-Pay-Go/Lost-or-Stolen-O2-Device-How-to-Report-it/m-p/1023990#M122177

Follow the advice above then you could do a sim swap once it's reported.

You need to ask customer service to transfer your number to your new contract which will end your old contract (and generate your final bill).
Remember, that if you do report the old phone as lost it will have a block put on it so you need to ask CS to lift the block before you can use the number on the new contract.

You can't sim swap to change your number to a different contract unfortunately.

@Anonymous  What exactly do you mean by 'elsewhere'? Do you mean that you've taken out another contract with O2, or a contract with a different network and you want to port your number?

I DO NOT WORK FOR O2
