How long does a credit check take?

I ordered a Iphone 6 last night (gone 10pm Friday night) how long does a credit check take? Also can not see the link for tracking or anything? Is that a bad sign? As I have had a contract with O2 before and only thing that is concerning me is how long i've lived at my address. Wasn't 100% sure exactly how long so guessed will this fail me also?

But no emails confirming I've been accepted.

Correction. Says being delivered tomorrow and gave me reference which I just checked with courier. Say delivery tomorrow.

But no emails from o2 still and I can't access my o2 account either.
