Help! anyone else having a problem with the transfer of their orange number?

Hello!

 

Just joined 02 last week, on transferring my orange number over I have had no incoming service whatsoever on my mobile, phone calls or texts.  So thats five days with half a service.  Have called 02 twice a day, and even phoned Orange, and still I am waiting.  Have been told Orange are a fault but cannot give me a timescale.  Orange tell me its 02's fault. Very frustrating! and feel like I am getting no help.  These are my problems:-

 

I can make calls and send texts.

When I call my own mobile it says the number is incorrect.

When anyone calls me from a landline or mobile it says the number is incorrect.

Strangely enough two people I know on 02 have managed to call me.

The lady from 02 tried the number and it said it was incorrect.

 

I am paying for a service which I am not getting and have been told it will rectify itself. Its been nearly 5 days! how long does one have to wait!

 

I have been happy with the customer service so far but my patients is going. slight_smile

Yes done all those time and time again. New sim on way. Orange may have rectified their error but my phone does not work. Lets hope its sorted soon.
