Hello. I have upgraded my phone via O2 and want to give my old Samsung A5 (locked on O2) to my granddaughter. I have contacted O2 to have my old phone unlocked to the network so that I can use another SIM in it but this is not working and I am now wondering if my phone has been hardlocked as we tried many times (via online chat with O2). I even went into an O2 store but they cannot help as they are only sales people (as they said).
The message on my phone is 'SIM network PIN blocked. Enter SIM network PUK'..
My wife's phone is exactly the same but her's unlocked straightaway (unfortunately there is a fault with the sound so we cannot use this one).
Can anyone help?
