HTC Windows 8S

Anonymous
Not applicable

I had to upgrade my phone quickly as was having to go away for a few days, didn't really have time to look at all phones properly but the HTC Windows was available that day and in budget.

The phone is useless, it does not accept memory cards, though keeps telling me that i need to insert more memory, it keeps switching itself on, then flashing on and off over night, its slow and keeps crashing.  Did some research and it sounds this is a fault with the phone.

updgraded in March (just before the refresh stuff came out) and its a 2 year contract.  Went into the shop looking for advise and was told 'yeah it sounds like a **bleep** phone' and nothing you can do other than pay off your contract.  i am really unhappy with this and will leave o2 if there is no other option.  is this the case and if so how do you work out what you need to pay?

You can send the phone in for repair or:

You might be able to use the new Speed to Refresh scheme, the terms are here:

http://www.o2.co.uk/termsandconditions/rewards/speed-to-refresh

and here:

I believe you get 25% off the outstanding balance of your contract providing you take out a new 2 year Refresh one.

Hi and Welcome,

Im shocked the 02 emploee in the shop would be so negative to you.

The contract termination is the remaining amount of months left to run in your contract term minus any bolt ons etc.

You could sell the phone and use the funds to help pay it off.

Or sell the phone and use those funds to buy another.

However, The phone will be covered under its manufacturers warranty.

I would seek help from HTC themselves or 02 repairs as a last resort.
