Hi got this text message from o2 - or is it some kind of spam :
"Hi, it's O2.We've incorrectly charged you for O2 Refresh FLX Unlimited 30D 15GB. Sorry about that but we've fixed the issue now. A credit of17.47GBP will be applied to your O2 Account."
No idea what it is about - checked my o2 account and cant see anything on the above ? anyone else get this

Not seen anything like that but I wouldn't be surprised if it was genuine.
However, I'd just ignore it as you can never be sure these days.
Calling O2 to check would likely just add more confusion.

Every credit I've had from O2 has been in the format £00.00 not 00.00 GBP

I ignored it nothing showed on my account very odd or very clever pointless spam I dont know

If on 360 billing, you should have got an e-mail or an alert from MyO2 about this and you can check in the web version of MyO2. Go to "Billing History" from the MyO2 dropdown at the left top of the screen:
If on legacy MyO2 still, use this Guide: How do I get to the 'Download Bill' page? and look for "Recent Charges" section of the bill:
As advised by others, the GBP vs use of £ symbol may be a flag that it is a fake, unless you are really on a "O2 Refresh FLX Unlimited 30D 15GB" tariff, @Dino1968.
