I am going to Morocco, I have O2 travel included in my tariff however how do I best avoid excessive charges?

Use WiFi and call home using WhatsApp, messenger etc.

Network charges for calls, texts and data can be found here http://international.o2.co.uk/internationaltariffs/travelling_abroad

It certainly isn't cheap! Keep mobile data switched off to avoid data charges.
