Dear Support,

I am travelling to Germany and Belgium for 1 week and I am wondering what is inclusive while I'm there? would the data used in Germany covered by the biil or not? If not, how much would it cost?

This is my tariff: O2 26 pound on iPhone 24 Month with 1GB data

Your data allowance is for use in the UK only. Any data used will be charged at £1.99/day as covered by O2 Travel.

Use wifi where possible as it's free. Also switch off voicemail before you go. Full info on O2 Travel here:

http://www.o2.co.uk/support/internationalandtravel

Relax, when in Germany,
you're on O2 Travel

  • It costs just £1.99 for a day's worth of data
    (up to 25MB).
  • Pay Monthly customers use their normal
minutes (after a 50p connection charge).

  • Text messages cost 8.5p per message
(It's always free to receive texts).

Belgium costs will be the same.

Enjoy your travels:smileyhappy:

bandofbrothers is right in that case,

on o2 UK travel it would cost you ~14 GBP (1 week - 7 days)

On Telekom Germany (that's what still called T-mobile in the rest of the world) it's 9,95€ (=8.58 GBP)

See here: http://www.t-mobile.de/xtracard/0,23442,26915-_,00.html

It says the sim costs you 9,95€ and has a balance of 10€

And the site says if activated before 31.3.2013 it's 31 days internetflat inclusive, if you leave for Belgium it's 1,99€ for a dayflat.

Telekom has the best net in Germany, O2 has a poor coverage, especially if you're inside (they use "E-net" here, other frequences as Telekom (D-net).

If there are questions, just drop me a PM wink

You get another 15mb for an additional £1.99. You calls back to the UK now only cost 50p for 60 mins and it does not effect your included mins anymore.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
