I have a second line phone for my mum , 9months old. It’s now not working, past 3 weeks it’s been freezing, lagging and a blank screen. I am really annoyed at this now as the phone is now not able to use. How do I cancel my contract as I am not paying for something can not use?
I have tried booking in for repair but this is going to take months due to covid-19 and mum needs a working phone urgently!

Does mum know how to clear all the apps down?

Has she downloaded any new apps that may be causing this?

Facebook if she has it can cause these type of problems so uninstalling and getting Facebook Lite helps

It could be that the cache wants cleaning but that may be too technical for her though it can be explained in a step-by=step guide.

Finally if the phone needs to be repaired under warranty it will be done better and quicker by Samsung.

@LB1986 If all your mum needs is an inexpensive phone that she can make calls and send texts, either you or she can find one on Amazon or eBay, and it will get sent to you. More care needs to be taken with anything bought on eBay, but if you look at a seller's ratings that's a good way to protect your purchase. You don't need to spend a lot of money to get a temporary solution to your problem.
