Some banks allow you to reinstate a DD which has been recently cancelled. Most of them would need a call to the bank to set it up again.
If you have any issues then use this form

(However, I do think your bank will reinstate it. Mine did last week when I made the same error)

You can make any payments due in the meantime with a card to avoid late fees.
