I have a DD running, but the payment comes out a week or more after I get paid. I can't bring it closer to my pay day as it may collect before I get paid. Your new DD structure is pants. 

 

If I pay my bill manually when I get paid, will that cancel out my DD for that month? I don't want to pay my bill twice.

If it is within a week, then no it wont cancel it out, as its needs to be over 7days, and to be honest this has been way with o2 for as long as I can remember (and a number of networks and MVNO's) do the same.

The best thing to do is contact o2 and ask them to move your billing date, best number to call is 0800 902 0217

As long as the payment comes out (which it has to do once a month) it doesn't matter what day it comes out, does it?
