I regularly ring the US on my land line using a dial through number. You ring this number usually a 0844 number and then ring the number you want. Supposed to be 2p per minute.
I've just found out they've (Planet-talk) been charging me 20p per minute for at least 15 months.
I've got a refund from my bank going back the 15 months.
So I have now two questions:
Does anyone know a reliable dial through number to use via my mobile phone.
Does anyone know the access charge of 02 to use the dial through number.
Thank you so much.
Because of C19 and reducing of their services I can't speak with 02 staff directly

Have you tried WhatsApp, @Polar? Both parties need to have WhatsApp on their phone and each needs a good WiFi or mobile data signal to use it for voice calling.
Alas, Planet-talk low rate calling works from landline only, you need a pre-pay account with them to access their service from a mobile:

Hi @Polar
You need the international bolt on with O2. Dial direct to the US to mobile or landline for 2p a minute

Or as said by @pgn, use Whatsapp as long as both parties have it.

Cleoriff - The International Bold On sounds good.
The other party doesn't have WhatsApp, don't know why.
PLANET TALK --- you are the company that overcharged me x 10 times (for each call I made over at least 15 months) the advertised rate and which rate was also advised when making the dial through connection. And your Customer Service isn't even available at the weekend. Not impressed.
