I set up a SIM only account last week and selected esim thinking that my one plus 8 pro device was compatible. Turns out it's not and I need a physical SIM. Problem is I can't request a physical SIM without being texted a code to verify my number. But since I don't have a working SIM I can't receive a text. What do I do? There's no help desk number to call that I can find on the site

We’re just customers like you but it sounds like you’ll need someone to access your account which can’t be done from here. If you message O2 using the links below, they should be able to help you with this

You now have only 2 options to get a replacement SIM - either pop into an O2 store, with photo id, and ask them to swap your SIM, or call O2 on any of the numbers here: https://www.o2.co.uk/contactus
