I have been having minor issues with calls dropping out and the customer service person I spoke to recommended a new sim. I said I would hold onto the sim and not bother swapping if the signal improved over the course of the next few days.

The sim was dispatched today and my current sim has been deactivated so I am now waiting up to 3 days for a replacement. No indication that this would happen and I haven’t clicked the link on the email to say I’ve got the new sim - is this normal? Seems like terrible service if so - no important calls when out, no 2 factor authentication I’m stuck!

@turnipeater

It could just be coincidence and that you failing sim has finally failed completely.

Anyway, sims are sent 1st class so should be with you next day.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)
