If you were cut off, it normally takes a day, during the week, for service to be restored. Nothing happens at the weekend, though - so keep rebooting your phone from Monday morning, @Oliverwild.
If you need to call O2, call any of the numbers in here at around 08:15 UK time tomorrow morning - the 0800 number can be called using Skype, as your phone has no service: Guide: Coronavirus Community Help and Support - good luck!
