Data useage too high

I purchased a 1GB bolt on at 17:55 today. I looked at the useage on the internet and at 18:30 today half of the bolt on had been used. Is it possible to use so much data in half an hour. Why else might the useage be so high?

Maybe affected users could use apps such as Onavo Extend , as one example to see if that helps in the interim.

David160 try to on to Settings>general>back app refresh. It will show u what apps r running in the background and how much data they r using, that should give an aswer on to what app is using all that data.After all u have to do is go into that apps settings and change the permissions.

The setting you speak of is to allow the apps to refresh when on wifi or mobile data. You can turn off an individual app or the whole setting via the toggle. This saves data and battery.

The setting they need to look at and reset each allowance refresh is : Settings, Mobile ,and the apps are at the bottom and show what's using what.
